With 16+ years of experience in the dog boarding and dog breeding industry, you can rest assured that your pet is coming from a loving home.
We have been breeding Golden Retrievers for over 16 years.
Located in the heart of Windsor, NS our puppies are raised in our home where they are given plenty of love and attention.
All puppies come with their first set of vaccinations, are de-wormed, microchipped and vet checked. Airline transportation can be arranged if needed.
Kennel Facilites
Puppies are raised in our home for the first few weeks so that we can keep a constant eye on them until their eyes are open and they are able to walk. The first few weeks they require constant supervision to ensure their survival.
Once the puppies reach a safe age and have outgrown their whelping box they are moved to our heated/air conditioned kennel were they have more room to run and play. It is here where they start to develop their personalities and play.
Security is important to us. Our property has four exterior cameras and the kennel has an interior camera with motion alert and a live camera feed which allows us to check in on the puppies at any time.
our backgrounnd
In 1997 my parents began breeding Labrador retrievers, golden retrievers and started a very successful boarding kennel (Graystone Kennels). I was actively involved in the business for years. When I met my wife Valerie and we obtained our first property we made the decision to start our own kennel as my parents had retired from dog boarding.
I build a 20’x32’ kennel on our property and started my own boarding kennel. During that time we became involved in breeding golden retrievers.
My wife is a retired emergency room nurse and I am an actively serving police officer. When I began my career as a police officer we made the difficult choice to move to Windsor so I could be closer to work and stopped boarding dogs.
We converted half of our garage to a kennel where our dogs can go out on nice days and play in the dog run with unlimited access to the heated/air conditioned interior.
Our breeding dogs are crucial members of our family and some live in our spacious house where they get the love and attention they deserve. Other are fostered out to their loving families. We get a great amount of joy from watching the puppies grow and seeing the delight they bring their owners.
